Small Town Cartography is just me. Here's what the site collects, why, and who else sees it. Short version: only what I need to get your poster to you.

When you buy a poster

Checkout happens on Stripe. They take your name, email, shipping address and card. I never see your card number. (Stripe's privacy policy)

Printful prints and ships the posters, so they get your name, address and email too. (Printful's privacy policy)

I keep order records for as long as I need them for taxes and for helping you if something goes wrong.

Custom map requests

If you ask for a custom map, the form sends me what you typed: your name, email and what you want mapped. I only use it to write back and make your map. Netlify hosts the form.

"Near you"

The home page makes a rough guess at where you are from your IP address, so it can show you the closest map. Nothing gets saved.

Ads and cookies

I run some Google ads. If you come in from one, Google sets a cookie so I can tell whether the ad led to a sale. That's it. I don't get your name or contact info from it, just counts.

If you'd rather not, you can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com or block cookies in your browser. Everything on the site still works.

There's no other tracking or analytics here.

Email

I'll only email you about your order or your custom map. No newsletters. I don't sell or share your info with anyone for marketing.

Questions, changes, deleting your info

Email hello@smalltowncartography.com and I'll sort it out.

If this page ever changes, the date at the top will too.
